The Role

  • We are looking for a skilled Sr. Technical Designer to help facilitate fun and exciting gameplay in our new original game.



  • Work closely with the Lead Designer to implement systems with a high degree of technical proficiency

  • Create and implement Technical Design best practices for the Design team

  • Collaborate with other disciplines to achieve superior gameplay results when designing and implementing core gameplay systems

  • Help maintain a rapid iterative design process that frequently playtests and iterates based on playtest trends, data and observations


Essential Skills and Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience as a Technical Designer or Systems Designer

  • Deep knowledge of scripting or programming languages pertaining to game development

  • High level of experience with game editors and game development tools

  • At least 2 shipped game titles as a Scripter or Technical Designer and a passion for games as a medium

  • The ability to design and comprehend complex gameplay systems including core gameplay mechanics

  • The ability to implement complex gameplay systems and mechanics


Nice-to-Have Skills and Qualifications

  • AAA console development experience

  • A design geek at heart - you appreciate and see the design in everything

  • Comfortable with working remotely on a full-time basis
