Entry-Level Software Engineer

The Role

​

5BY5 Interactive is seeking a highly motivated entry-level software engineer.  The ideal candidate is someone passionate about programming games with knowledge using Unity or Unreal 4.  The candidate should have working knowledge using C++/C#, but also the ability to transition to any tool or language as needed. 

 

Responsibilities

• Implement and document features in C++ or C#

• Provide work estimates and complete tasks on schedule

• Debug new and existing code
   

Key Qualifications

• Working knowledge of C++ and/or C#

• Can develop games using Unity OR Unreal 4
   

Preferred Qualifications

• Unity AND Unreal 4 Development Experience 

• Mobile Game Development

• VR Development

• Experience with OpenGL, DirectX, shader development (GLSL, HLSL)

• Math skills including trigonometry, calculus and linear algebra

• Passionate Indy game developer 

• Game Profiling
